The Lodge at Blue Lakes in Upperlake, California is having a weekend retreat for dog lovers November 6th to 8th. Bring your dog and enjoy a fun weekend right on the lake.

Saturday, November 7 at 2pm, Martha Steward will read Darby’s Story and provide personally signed copies to the weekend guests. See you there…..

Once Drew stepped out of the car, Darby would jump onto the front seat. His sad expression would turn to one of pure joy. He would look at Drew, maybe thinking have a good one at school, or I got my seat back, ha ha. Darby then would look at me, taking his place as co-pilot, as if to say What are you waiting for?
