Today makes History, & possible tomorrow in Sacramento ‘AB 1117’
Today is a day in history, Thank you Navy Seals for doing your job, an evil person who has caused too much pain in the past years, starting with the US Embassy in Kenya Bombing, I loss a dear friend that day. Then the bombing in Tanzania, then years later 9/11, I woke that morning wondering what in the world? I think it is safe to say, I understand Pearl Harbor. Our troops have a fought a good fight. Now as a nation we need not relax, but be on guard. I feel we as a nation, and our families will still be effective in some ways… Thank you Navy Seals for accomplishing an incredible mission.
Now tomorrow may be another day in history, for all our efforts to change animal cruelty laws, AB 1117 has a hearing Tuesday May 3rd, 2011.
Here is a bill that needs work: AB 1117 regarding ANIMAL ABUSE: PENALTIES, yes the bill has a hearing date May 3rd in Sacramento. For AB 1117 to pass, and the legislature needs to hears our voices. We need to read AB 1117, then write to our district representatives that includes Assembly, the Senate and the Author of the AB 1117 Smyth.
Here is the direct link so you can read the bill and decide for yourself. Is the bill strong enough to deter people from abusing animals? Will the Bill better serve the animals of California?
