One of my goals to Read Across America  is to discover encouraging articles and authors to help parents and their children read. A fellow MCA award winning author came up with BRAG. Jo Ann Kairys is co-author and co-illustrator of the children’s picture book,  Sunbelievable—winner of the Mom’s Choice Gold Medal 2012 Award. Jo Ann is also Founder of the 2012 First Annual Bloggers Read Across the Globe (BRAG) Project—Promoting Children’s Reading and Literacy—one enthusiastic blogger at a time. Please take a visit to these sites.

That’s a great selection of stories – from the fun to the practical. Super idea to get parents involved in children’s literacy, whether their own or otherwise. It takes a village, doesn’t it?
